How Does Coaching Really Work?

If you have ever tried to make changes in your life; you will know that quote above takes a lot more hardworking, grit, determination and focus to actually make your dreams come true.

Sometimes, you need a Coach just to be someone for you have a safe space to figure out what your dreams are? Or what direction your life could go in? Just because you have people around you does not mean that they will all listen attentively to you and help you figure it all out. You do not have to do it on your own, Coaches are here to provide the support you deserve.

Once you have a goal a Coach can help you figure out what is the best order to take those action steps, who can help you and what resources you need to ensure they are successfully completed.

And taking action requires accountability, working with a Coach provides that accountability to make sure that the fear of failure or success does not keep you trapped in a planning cycle.

In the same way that you can go to the gym on your own or you can choose to work with a personal trainer. Coaching ensures that you set up strategies with a knowledgeable professional who will get you the results you desire faster, simpler and easier than you can on your own.

Hannah

Robyn has a very engaging & comforting demeanor that immediately draws you in & feel like you’re talking to a friend! I would definitely recommend her if you are thinking about getting down to the “whys” and moving past what’s stopping you from living your dreams!

Kim

Robyn was very personable and helped me immensely! She was very good at listening and she helped me pinpoint what I valued in the workplace. She led me to a new career path and gave me the confidence to pursue it. I would recommend Robyn to anyone uncertain of their future.

Mike

I started utilizing Robyn as a Career Coach to help me get back on track, but really she's more of a Life Coach. Robyn is extremely personable and caring and really helps to get to the root of where you are and why you may feel "stuck" as opposed to just pushing you into the "what's next" phase. A valuable person to meet at just the right time and I'm glad I made the commitment to work with Robyn!

Jenn

She's awesome!

IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING AND NEED IMMEDIATE HELP, YOU ARE NOT ALONE

You can reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860 (U.S.) or 877-330-6366 (Canada), or The Trevor Project at 866-488-7386. If you’d like to talk to a peer, warmline.org contains links to warmlines in every state. If you don’t like talking on the phone, you can reach the Crisis Text Line by texting HOME to 741-741.

NOTE: Many of these resources utilize restrictive interventions, like active rescues (wellness or welfare checks) involving law enforcement or emergency services. If this is a concern for you, you can ask if this is a possibility at any point in your conversation. Trans Lifeline does not implement restrictive interventions for suicidal people without express consent. A warmline is also less likely to do this, but you may want to double-check their policies.
